EBC Run to Fund 2017
We're excited to be doing our second annual EBC Run to Fund, and we want to extend special thanks to our Title Sponsor, FaithLife Financial for making our second annual run a reality.  Please take a moment to learn more about our sponsors on the Sponsor page of this site.

This year, the Run to Fund is taking on the challenges of mental health on campus.  It's an exciting time for students when they begin their post secondary education, and often involves moving away from home for the first time - and being far from their traditional support networks.  It can be a daunting and stressful time.
Did you know that 70% of mental health issues
have their onset between the ages of 18 and 35?
Emmanuel is proud of our existing support systems and how our community comes together to take responsibility for providing accessible and professional counselling at no cost to the students.   But... demand continues to rise.
Unlike the public universities, Emmanuel will not receive any of the $15 million in grants from the Ontario government to help address the growing need.   Last year, 36% of our student body took advantage of our counselling services, to address a broad spectrum of issues including: self-esteem, addiction, family issues, relationships, depression, anxiety, childhood abuse, low self worth resulting in relational difficulties, poor work habits, unhealthy coping skills/habits, procrastination, addictive behaviors, relationship issues, and past traumas.
Will you help us fund and grow this critical area in our campus community?
Your donation is fully tax deductible, and thanks to our generous corporate sponsors,
100% of the money raised directly benefits the College.
